Cross-channel limit

Large number of queued contacts in Avaya Oceana® may lead to system failure. To prevent the failure, Avaya Oceana® introduces cross-channel limits. The limits in Avaya Oceana® have been channel based and not an overall limit on the number of contacts. These channel specific limits are still applicable, but Avaya Oceana® introduces an overall limit on the contacts that can be present in the system queue. Avaya Oceana® rejects all new digital contacts when cross-channel limit is reached.
