Customization overview

Avaya Workspaces provides the Widget Framework feature for administrators to:

  • Customize the layout and functioning of workspaces in a contact center.

  • Access Widget APIs to create customized workspaces.

To use the Widget Framework feature, you must create an administrator user role in Avaya Control Manager and log in to Avaya Workspaces by using the administrator user credentials. On the Avaya Workspaces administrator interface, you can use Widget Framework tools to customize or create Avaya Workspaces widgets.

Important:

If an Avaya Control Manager administrator renames a group, the group is assigned back to the default layout in Avaya Workspaces.
