Configuring channel limits

About this task

You can configure an overall limit on the number of contacts in Avaya Oceana® to prevent system failure due to large number of queued contacts.

Procedure

  1. Start Omnichannel Administration Utility.
  2. In the navigation pane, click General Administration.
  3. Click Channel Limits.

    The Channels Limits Settings page opens.

  4. In the Size of Digital contacts queue field, select the check box and enter an appropriate value.

  5. In the Cross-Channel Limit field, select the check box and enter an appropriate value.
  6. Click Save.
