Enabling or Disabling re-routing of ongoing contacts

About this task

When a browser disconnects at the agent workstation during an ongoing agent-customer interaction resulting in a connection lapse, the ongoing contacts are re-routed to another active agent in the service segment.

Use this procedure to enable or disable re-routing of ongoing contacts upon browser disconnect.

Procedure

  1. Log on to Avaya Aura® System Manager.
  2. Navigate to Elements > Avaya Breeze® > Configuration > Attributes.
  3. Click the Service Clusters tab.
  4. In the Cluster field, select the Unified Agent Controller (UAC) cluster.
  5. In the Service field, select the UAC service.
  6. Expand the Feature Flag attribute section.
  7. In the Enable automatic rerouting of contacts when the browser disconnects attribute field, select the Override Default check box.
  8. To set the Effective Value, choose one of the following:
    • True - Enables re-routing of ongoing contacts. The default value is True.

    • False - Disables re-routing of ongoing contacts.

  9. Click Commit.
