Viewing the defragmentation history

Last Updated : Nov 03, 2021 |

About this task

You can view the defragmentation process history using the Defragmentation History tab. The tab displays the table with the information about the previous defragmentation processes, listed in chronological order, with the newest at the top of the table. The information in the table includes the following:
  • Defragmentation Status

  • Time Started

  • Time Ended

  • Time Taken

You can use the Time Taken column to estimate how long the next defragmentation process can take. If you add and purge data at a consistent rate, the defragmentation process takes approximately the same time each time you run it.

The defragmentation history tab only displays the information about the last 100 processes.
