Creating a welcome message

About this task

Use this procedure to create a welcome message that must be sent to the customer when an agent joins the interaction.

Procedure

  1. Start Omnichannel Administration Utility.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Web Chat/Messaging > Resources.
  3. In the Create Welcome Message field, type a message.
  4. Click Create.
  5. In the Welcome Message list, select the newly created message.
  6. In the Attributes section, select the required attributes.

    For example, select Language.English.

  7. Click Save.
