Configuring deferral codes

About this task

Use this procedure to define deferral codes that agents can select through Avaya Workspaces. Agents use the deferral codes to defer an email.

Procedure

  1. On the Avaya Control Manager webpage, click Configuration  > Avaya Oceana™  > Reason Codes.
  2. Click the Deferral Codes tab.
  3. Click Add.
  4. In the Name field, type a name for the deferral code.
  5. In the Number field, type a number to identify the deferral code.

    The number must be unique. The deferral code number cannot be the same as a work code or user code number.

  6. In the Contact Type section, select Email.
  7. Click Save.
