Creating Sender Groups

About this task

Sender groups are used to match and apply a rule to an email sent to and received from particular email addresses. For example, creating blocklists.

Procedure

  1. Start Omnichannel Administration Utility.
  2. In the navigation pane, click E-mail > Sender Groups.
  3. Click New.
  4. In the Sender Group section, perform the following steps:
    1. In Name, enter a name.

      For example, Blocklist Group.

    2. In E-mail Address, enter the email address or domain to create a sender group for and click Add Freeform.

      You can repeat this step to add more email addresses or domains that you want to the group.

      Note:

      Sender groups support asterisks (*) as wildcard characters when they are placed in the email address.

    3. Click Save.

    You can now create required rules for the sender groups from the Rule Groups option.
