Configuring messaging transcripts

About this task

Use this procedure to configure the messaging transcripts.

Procedure

  1. Start Omnichannel Administration Utility.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Transcripts.
  3. Click Config.
  4. Navigate to the Messaging Transcript Access section.
  5. In Web Service, type the complete URL of the filtering service.

    For example, http://127.0.0.1/CustomerFilterMessages-{$version}/rest/filter. If your service listens on a port other than 80 or 443, include the port number.

    Note:

    The URL for transcript server is case sensitive and it is only applicable for the host in case of FQDN use.

  6. In Send Option, select one of the following options:
    • Do not send

    • Legacy transcript: Select this option if you are using Avaya Oceana® Release 3.5 or earlier.

    • Enhanced transcript: Refers to the extended version of message transcripts, which can store filtered transcripts outside Avaya Oceana®.

      Select this option if you are using Avaya Oceana® Release 3.6 or later.

    • Enhanced transcript API - v2: Select this option if you are using Avaya Oceana® 3.8.0.1 or later.

  7. Click Save.
