Defragmenting the Omnichannel database

About this task

You can run the defragmentation process to improve the database performance.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Omnichannel Database server.
  2. Start the Oceana Data Management utility.
  3. In the Oceana Data Management utility, click Defragmentation.
  4. In the navigation pane, click Data Defragmentation.
  5. Click Defragment Now.
  6. In the confirmation window, click OK.
  7. Optional To check the defragmentation status, click Refresh.

    In the Check Defragmentation section, Avaya Oceana® displays the defragmentation status, start and end times, and overall process time.
