Creating a page push URL

About this task

The agent can choose from a list of Web pages specified for a group assigned to the instant message or web chat contact. You can create the web pages that an agent can view. Ensure that you make the name of the page push URL descriptive to assist the agents. You can configure maximum 50 URLs.

Procedure

  1. Start Omnichannel Administration Utility.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Web Chat/Messaging.
  3. Click Page Push URLs.
  4. In the Page Push Group field, select the page push URL group.

    Click Delete if you can want to remove the group.

  5. Optional You can also create a new page push URL group. To create a new group, do the following:
    1. In the Group Name field, type a name for a page push URL group.
    2. Click Create.
  6. In the Edit Page Push URL section, review and choose an existing URL from the URLs not in group box and click Add to move the URL to the URLs in group box. Click Remove to exclude the URL from the group.

    To create a new URL, do the following:

    • In the Edit Page Push URL section, in the URL field, type the URL for the website to add to the list.

    • In the Description field, type a description for the page push URL that describes the URL that the agent can push.

    • Click Create. The newly created URL appears in the list.

    To delete a URL from the URLs not in group box, do the following:

    • Select a URL from the URLs not in group box.

    • Click Delete.

  7. In the Edit Attributes section, select the required attributes.

    For example, select Language.English.

  8. Click Save.
