You can upgrade RHEL 8.4 to RHEL 8.10 using the following av-upgrade-os command. The av-upgrade-os command is available when Avaya Aura® Device Services R10.2.1 is installed.
Before you begin
Install Avaya Aura® Device Services R10.2.1.
To view the current version of Avaya Aura® Device Services, run the following command: svc aads swversion.
Verify that av-upgrade-os command is available.
To verify if the av-upgrade-os command is available, run the following command: which av-upgrade-os
Verify the current version of RHEL on which Avaya Aura® Device Services is running.
To view the current RHELversion, run any of the following commands:
cat /etc/redhat-release
av-version
Download Avaya Aura® Device Services RHEL 8.10 Operating System bundle on Avaya Aura® Device Services R10.2.1 virtual machine.
Procedure
Login to Avaya Aura® Device Services CLI.
To upgrade from RHEL 8.4 to RHEL 8.10, run the following command: av-upgrade-os <AADS RHEL OS Bundle>
For example, run av-upgrade-os AV-AADS10.2-RHEL8.10-OSUpdate-001.tar.bz2
After successful upgrade to RHEL 8.10, reboot the Avaya Aura® Device Services virtual machine.
Login to Avaya Aura® Device Services CLI.
To verify that RHEL 8.10 is upgraded successfully, run any of the followig commands:
