Scheduling a Cassandra database repair

About this task

Avaya Aura® Device Services repairs the Cassandra database weekly to ensure that the information in the database is consistent throughout the nodes. You can select a day of the week when Avaya Aura® Device Services repairs the database or disable the repair process. By default, Avaya Aura® Device Services performs the repair process on Sundays.

Important:

The repair process might impact the Avaya Aura® Device Services performance. Therefore, Avaya recommends that you select the least busy day of the week for your enterprise.

Procedure

  1. On the Avaya Aura® Device Services web administration portal, navigate to System Parameters > Parameter Configuration.
  2. In NODETOOL_REPAIR_MANAGEMENT, choose one of the following to select when Avaya Aura® Device Services performs the Cassandra database repair:
    • To change the default day of the week for the repair process, select the appropriate day of the week.

    • To disable the repair process, select None.

  3. Click Save.
