About this task
You can select a minimum TLS version that Avaya Aura® Device Services uses to establish secure connections. Avaya Aura® Device Services supports TLS versions 1.2 and 1.3.
If you select version 1.2, Avaya Aura® Device Services can use either TLS 1.2 or 1.3 to establish connections.
If you select version 1.3, Avaya Aura® Device Services only uses TLS 1.3.
For security reasons, Avaya recommends that you use TLS 1.3 whenever possible.
Note:
Switching between TLS versions might cause considerable Avaya Aura® Device Services downtime because it affects DRS synchronization. Therefore, Avaya recommends that you switch TLS versions during maintenance windows.
