Synchronization with the LDAP server fails

Condition

Avaya Aura® Device Services displays the Failed synchronization status on the LDAP server page. The AADS.log and catalina log files contains an error indicating that LDAP synchronization failed.

Solution

Procedure

  1. Ensure that the LDAP server is online.
  2. Ensure that the LDAP server is reachable.
  3. Gather logs and contact Avaya support personnel.
