Creating a campaign strategy

About this task

Use this procedure to create a campaign strategy.

You can also save the strategy as draft if the strategy is incomplete or contains errors that you want to resolve later.

You cannot use draft strategies in a campaign.

Note:

If you use a predefined template for creating a campaign strategy, POM sets the allocation type for handlers to Dynamic.

Before you begin

Enable pop-up on your browser.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, click Proactive Outreach > Manager.
  2. On the Campaigns menu, click Campaign Strategies.
  3. On the Campaign Strategies page, click Add.
  4. In the Name field, type a name for the campaign strategy.
  5. Select the Use template check box if you want to use a campaign strategy template as the base for creating the campaign strategy.
  6. In the Template field, click the template you want to use as the base for creating the campaign strategy.

    The Template field displays the predefined and user-defined templates.

  7. Click Continue.
  8. On the Campaign Strategy Editor page, do the following to configure the campaign strategy:
    1. Drag a node from the Selected Node area to the Campaign Strategy area. You can also right-click a node in the Campaign Strategy area and select the node you want to add under the node by using the Add Node option.

      The Selected Node area displays the nodes that are permitted under the node you select in the Campaign Strategy area.

    2. In the Campaign Strategy area, select each node and set its properties in the Property area.
  9. Do one of the following:
    • Click SAVE to save the campaign strategy.

    • Click SAVE DRAFT if you want to save the strategy as draft.
