File Splitters page field descriptions

This page displays the lists of splitters created for splitting files into contact lists. Depending on your user role, you can add, change, delete, analyze, preview, run, and schedule a splitter.

Field or Button

Description

New File Splitter

Use to add a new file splitter.

Search File Splitter

Use to specify a file splitter name to search.

Filter icon
Use to go to the advanced search option to apply the following filter options:
  • Column Name: Use the list to select one of the following search criteria options:
    • Name

    • Organizations

    • Contact Lists

  • Operator: Use the list to select one of the following operators to specify the search criteria:
    • Equal to (=)

    • Not Equal to (!=)

    • in

    • like

    • not like

  • Search Text: Use to specify the text according to the selected Column Name and Operator.

Refresh icon

Use to clear the search.

ID

Displays the ID of a file splitter.

Name

Displays the name of a file splitter.

Organizations

Displays the name of the associated organizations.

Contact Lists

Displays the contact lists details.

Last Executed

Displays the date and time when a file splitter is last executed.

Unfiltered Records File Path

Displays the name and the complete path of a file with the records not filtered by any filter criteria. POM displays these data after the splitter is executed or analyzed.

Note:

The path and the file name created when the last splitter is executed or analyzed may not be valid if the filename or file path is deleted due to purging.

Status

Displays one of the following statuses of a file splitter:
  • New

  • Analyzing

  • Analyzed

  • Running

  • Completed

  • Failed

  • Partially Executed

  • Failed - File not found

  • Failed - Source is a directory

  • Failed - File size is more than configured

  • Failed - splitter already running

  • Failed - Incorrect Username or Password

Actions

Depending on your user role, you can perform the following actions for managing the splitters.

  • Use Actions icon view more options such as Preview, Analyze, Run, Schedule, Edit, and Delete.

  • Use Preview to preview a splitter. The Preview action displays the count of contacts that are available in the splitter file. This file can be downloaded.

  • Use Analyze to analyze a splitter. Use this option to do the following tasks:
    • Copy the file from the source location.

    • Apply filter criteria sequentially on the file.

    • Split the file into multiple files to preview the data.

    Note:
    • After analysis, this file is available for preview or download.

    • The split file remains in the POM system according to the configured purge schedule.

  • Click Run to run a splitter immediately without creating a schedule. Use this option to import the split files to create contact list and moves the .csv file into the archive directory.

  • Click Schedule to schedule a splitter. Use this option to create a schedule to run the file splitter once or on a recurrent basis.

  • Click Delete to delete the splitter.
