Configuring zone failover settings

About this task

Use this procedure to change the state and failover setting of a zone for an active campaign.

Before you begin

Associate at least one contact list to the job of the zone to which you want to perform a zone failover operation.

If you do not do this operation, the zone failover does not work and an active campaign cannot dial contacts from the failover zone.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, click Proactive Outreach > Dashboard.
  2. In Supervisor Dashboard, click Zone Settings Zone Settings icon.

    The system displays the Zone Settings page.

    Zone Name displays the zones that are configured in POM.

  3. Click Edit Edit icon corresponding to the zone.
  4. In the Zone State field, set the state for the zone.
  5. In the Failover Zone field, assign a failover zone for the zone.

    You can assign a failover zone only when you are setting the state of the zone displayed in the Zone Name field to Down.

    This field does not display zones that are in a Down state.

  6. Click Save Save icon.

    The Save option is available after you perform changes in the zone settings.

    However, if your user account does not have the required privileges to modify the zone settings, the Save option remains unavailable.
