Use this procedure to enable POM to clean up non-numeric characters from a phone number when you add a data source.
Procedure
In the navigation pane, click Proactive Outreach > Manager.
On the Contacts menu, click Contact Lists.
On the Contact Lists page, click the required contact list.
Click the Data Source tab and click New Data Source.
On the New Data Source page, in Advanced Options, select Clean up non numeric characters from phone numbers.
A contact with a phone number attribute value that contains non numeric characters, such as a parenthesis, space, or dash, is rejected and not added to POM. If you select this option, the non-numeric characters is removed and the contact is added to POM.
Add the other relevant information required to add a data source, and click Finish.
