Use this page to add a holiday.

Field or Button

Description

Name

Use to specify the name of the holiday.

You cannot edit this field after you save the holiday.

Note:

  • You can use a maximum of 80 characters in this field.

  • You cannot use the following characters:

    • White space

    • {

    • }

    • (

    • )

    • @

    • ~

    • `

    • !

    • '

    • ;

    • ,

    • #

    • $

    • %

    • &

    • ?

    • "

    • <

    • >

Organization

Use to associate organizations with the holiday.

To associate organizations, add the required organizations from the Available Organizations list to the Selected Organizations list.

To do the following tasks, use the following actions:

  • To add an organization from the Available Organizations list to the Selected Organizations list, click Move icon.

  • To remove an organization from the Selected Organizations list to the Available Organizations list, click .

  • To add all organizations from the Available Organizations list to the Selected Organizations list, click Add All.

  • To remove all organizations from the Selected Organizations list to the Available Organizations list, click Remove All.

Level
Use to select one of the following three levels at which the holiday is defined:

  • Campaign

  • State

  • Country

You see different fields listed in the following three tables based on the Level you select.

POM displays the following fields if in Level, you select Campaign.

Field or Button

Description

Campaign

To associate campaigns, add the required campaigns from the Available Campaigns list to the Selected Campaigns list.

The campaigns are available for selection based on the organizations you include in the Selected Organizations list. If you remove an organization from Selected Organizations, POM removes the campaigns that are associated with that organization.

To do the following tasks, use the following actions:

  • To add a campaign from the Available Campaigns list to the Selected Campaigns list, click Move icon.

  • To remove a campaign from the Selected Campaigns list to the Available Campaigns list, click .

  • To add all campaigns from the Available Campaigns list to the Selected Campaigns list, click Add All.

  • To remove all campaigns from the Selected Campaigns list to the Available Campaigns list, click Remove All.

Start Time

Use to specify the start date and time of the holiday. Use the calendar wizard and the time-picker to select the date and the time. You can specify the time in 24-hour clock format.

End Time

Use to specify the end date and time of the holiday. Use the calendar wizard and the time-picker to select the date and the time. You can specify the time in 24-hour clock format.

Yearly Recurrence

Use to enable the holiday to occur yearly.

Enabled

Use to enable the holiday.

POM displays the following fields if in Level, you select State.

Field or Button

Description

Country

Use to select the country in which the state is located.

State

To associate states, add the required states from the Available States list to the Selected States list.

The states are available for selection, based on the country you select.

To do the following tasks, use the following actions:

  • To add a state from the Available States list to the Selected States list, click Move icon.

  • To remove a state from the Selected States list to the Available States list, click .

  • To add all states from the Available States list to the Selected Campaigns list, click Add All.

  • To remove all states from the Selected States list to the Available Campaigns list, click Remove All.

Restriction Type
Select one of the following restriction types:

  • To temporarily restrict the outbound dialing, select Temporary Restriction.

    POM resumes the outbound dialing after the restriction period.

  • To permanently restrict the outbound dialing based on the restriction completion code, select Permanent Restriction.

    For permanent restriction, you must also select the completion code in the Restriction Completion Code field.

Use to specify the end date and time of the holiday. Use the calendar wizard and the time-picker to select the date and the time. You can specify the time in 24-hour clock format.
