Rules page field descriptions

The Rules page displays the list of rules associated with the organization or owned by the user organization.

By default, POM provides two system rules: 72Hours_NUISANCE and 24Hours_AMD.

Field or Button

Description

New Rule

Click to add a new rule.

Global Rule Default Order

Click to specify the order of execution of global rules.

Search Rules

Use to search a rule.

Filter Filter icon

Click to perform advanced search on the rules.

Column Name

Click the column name based on which you want to perform the advanced search.

The following are the options:

  • Name: To filter the rule by name.

  • Category: To filter the rule based on the rule category.

Operator

Click the operator you want to use to perform the advanced search.

If you select Name in the Column Name field, the following operators are available:

  • Equal to (=)

  • Not Equal to (!=)

  • in

  • like

  • not like

If you select Category in the Column Name field, the following operator is available:

  • Equal to (=)

Search Text

If you select Name in the Column Name field, type the rule name based on which you want to filter the rules.

If you select Category in the Column Name field, click the rule category based on which you want to filter the rules.

Refresh Refresh icon

Click to clear the search.

Columns Columns icon

Click Columns Columns icon > Columns > <name of column> to show or hide a column name on the Rules page.

Actions Actions icon

Displays the actions you can take on the rule.

The following are the options:

  • Edit: To edit the rule.

  • Save As: To create a copy of the rule. The name and organization attributes are changed in the new rule that is created.

  • Associated Campaigns: To view the campaigns associated with the rule.

  • Delete: To delete the rule.

For system rules, only the Edit and Save As options are available.

Name

Displays the unique name of the rule.

Type

Displays whether the rule is a system rule or user-defined rule.

Level

Displays whether the rule is applied to all or specific campaigns.

Restrict On

Displays whether the rule restricts an attempt on Contact or Address.

Category

Displays the rule category.

Restriction Completion Code

Displays the completion code with which the contact is updated when the contact is restricted by the rule.

Enabled

Displays whether the rule is enabled or disabled.
