Creating a data source schedule

About this task

Use this procedure to create a recurring or run-once schedule for a contact data source.

Note:

To ensure optimum performance and stability of POM, restrictions are imposed on number of parallel imports supported as well as on the number of contacts that can be imported or uploaded into the contact list at a time when POM is under high load. For more information on restrictions on imports, see Avaya Proactive Outreach Manager Overview and Specification.

Caution:

If the POM database restarts during an import, you might lose some data.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, click Proactive Outreach > Manager.
  2. On the Contacts menu, click Contact Lists.
  3. On the Contact Lists page, click the required contact list.
  4. Click the Data Source tab, and under the Data Source Name column, point to the required data source and click actions icon and click Schedule.
  5. On the Schedule page, click New Schedule.
  6. In the New Schedule dialog box, add relevant information, and click Save.
