Name

Displays the name of the purge.

The following are the types of file-based purges:
  • Contact List Import Files

  • DNC Import Files

  • Export Files

  • Splitter Files

Note:

You can configure organization-specific file-based purges. An administrator can configure these purges for all the organizations. An organization administrator can configure these purges for their organization.

The following are the types of database-based purges:
  • Campaign and Agent Data

    Note:

An organization administrator has view-only permission for the Campaign and Agent Data purge. Only an administrator can configure this type of purge, and this configured purge applies to all organizations. Therefore, when you run this purge, POM deletes all the data belonging to all organizations.

  • Database entries of Import

Retention Period (In days)

Use to select the number of days POM retains the data at the specific location. You can specify only numeric characters in this field. POM deletes the records that are older than the retention period.

This field also displays the default values or the values that you configure.

Note:
  • The Campaign and Agent Data purge retention period must be greater than any rules enabled in the rule editor. If the retention period is lesser than any rules enabled in the rule editor, POM prompts the user to disable the rules. If you continue, POM disables the rules. For restricted attempts, you cannot configure rules with a duration greater than the data retention period.

  • The retention period for the Campaign and Agent Data purge is calculated based on the campaign stop date and time. This calculation is also applicable for infinite campaigns. If an infinite campaign runs, POM does not delete the data until the campaign job is paused and restarted. For example, if the retention period is of five days, and the infinite campaign starts on the first day of the month, on the eleventh day, POM does not delete the campaign data older than five days. Consider that the same campaign stops on the twelfth day, and when the purge runs on the eighteenth day, POM searches the list of campaigns stopped before the configured retention period of five days and deletes the data. In this case, the data for the infinite campaign that stopped on the twelfth day gets deleted.

Path

Displays the location of the file to be purged.

The path is not available for the following database-based purges: Campaign and Agent Data and Database entries of Import.

Last Executed

Displays the date and time when the purge was last executed. This field displays a hyphen (-) character to indicate that the purge schedule was never performed.

Daily run at

Use to specify the time, in Hours, Minutes, and Seconds, when the purging is scheduled to start every day.

This field also displays the default values or the values that you configure.

Save

Use to save the configured purge schedule.

Note:

An administrator can configure and schedule a purge for all the organizations. An organization-administrator can configure and schedule to start a purge every day for the organization the administrator belongs to.

The campaign and Agent Data purge and the database entries of import purges are common for all organizations. Only an administrator can configure and schedule to start a purge when you select the default organization. An organization administrator has view-only permission for these purges. These purges run at the scheduled time configured for the default organization.

The following table contains the minimum, maximum, and default retention periods for the purges:
