Avaya Workplace Client for Windows supports Interruptible Aux feature for agents, by which the agent is notified with a notification dialog box and a custom ring sound and moved to Ready work mode. The feature gets activated when an interruptible skill exceeds the configured threshold values.
Your admin must configure the following:
The aux work reason code as Interruptible in Communication Manager.
An aux threshold value of calls-warning-threshold, service-level target, or time-warning-threshold in the Interruptible Aux Threshold field on the Hunt Group screen.
An interruptible level of a, m, or n where a=Auto-In-Interrupt, m=Manual-In-Interrupt, and n = Notify-Interrupt in the Reserve Level (RL) field on the Agent Login ID screen.
The duration of notification in the Interruptible Aux Notification Timer (sec) field on the Feature-Related System-Parameters screen.
Note:
Valid entries are from 1 to 9 seconds with the default value of 3 seconds.
