A Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) link is configured between the Routing Core Server and the AE Services server that provides support for CTI applications. With CTI applications, you can monitor and control endpoints, agents, and calls through AE Services. To use CTI applications, configure CTI links for the CVLAN, DLG, and TSAPI services. The JTAPI and DMCC services use the TSAPI CTI links. When adding or editing CTI links, you must select the ASAI-IP link type for a CVLAN link and the ADJ-IP link type for a TSAPI link.
On the CTI Links screen, you can add new CTI links and view CTI link configuration details. You can also edit the CTI link settings and delete existing CTI links. To avoid service interruption, before editing and deleting a CTI link, you must ensure that no CTI applications are actively using the link and disable the link. For more information about disabling CTI links, see the AE Services maintenance section in Maintaining Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity.
