About this task

Import a group of skills to the contact center using a configuration spreadsheet. With the configuration spreadsheet, you can add new skills to the contact center or import the skill configuration from your previous contact center.

You can also edit the configuration of a group of skills by filling in the configuration spreadsheet with existing skill numbers. When you upload the spreadsheet, the Configuration Server updates the configuration of skills with matching skill numbers.

Before you begin

Download a skill configuration template from the Skills screen and fill it in with your configuration details.

Procedure

  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to Administration > Contact Center > Skills.
  2. At the top-right corner of the Skills screen, click the More icon and select Import Skills.
  3. In the new window, go to the required folder and select the configuration spreadsheet.

    The configuration spreadsheet is in the .xlsx format.

  4. In the confirmation window, click Yes.

    The Configuration Server imports the skill configuration data to Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity.
