Global configuration

Last Updated : Sep 12, 2022 |

Global configurations define a set of system parameters that the Configuration Server applies to your contact center if you do not configure local settings. You can specify global settings for your contact center features, media, and network configurations. For example, you can also set up default options for dialing and routing, such as using an external prefix and permission sets for callers.

On the Global Configurations screen, you can edit and delete the created configurations. When you delete a global configuration, the Configuration Server uses local settings on the corresponding configuration screen.

To override local settings with a global configuration, you can select the System option for the corresponding configuration. For example, select System for AI Pairing on the Skills screen to use the global configuration instead of a local setting.
