Add a user and assign a global role to this user. The assigned global role determines the level of access that the created user has to the Configuration Server functionality.
Before you begin
Log in to the Configuration Server as a super administrator.
Procedure
On the Security App navigation menu, click User Management.
At the top-right corner of the User Management page, click .
Optional In First Name, type the user's first name.
You can type a maximum of 50 Unicode characters.
Optional In Last Name, type the user's last name.
You can type a maximum of 50 Unicode characters.
In Email, type the user's email address.
To log in to the Configuration Server web portal, the user can enter the username or email address.
In Username, type the user's login.
You can type a maximum of 50 Unicode characters.
In Password, do one of the following:
Type the user's password.
You must set a unique password for each user. The password must comply with the defined password policy.
To generate the user's password, click Generate Password.
When a user logs in for the first time, the Configuration Server web portal prompts the user to change the password.
To assign a network tenant to the user, under TENANTS, select the required tenant.
Under GLOBAL ROLE, select the required global role for the user.
The selected role determines the Configuration Server functionality that is accessible to the user.
At the bottom-right corner of the screen, click Save.
The Configuration Server saves the user configuration and redirects you to the User Management screen.
