Editing endpoint configuration

About this task

Edit the configuration of an endpoint or a group of endpoints. When you edit endpoint configuration, you cannot modify the endpoint extension. If you want to use a different extension or voice mail number, you must duplicate the required endpoint configuration or add a new endpoint.

Procedure

  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to Administration > Endpoints > Manage Endpoints.
  2. On the Endpoints screen, select the required endpoint or a group of endpoints.
  3. At the top-right corner of the screen, click the Edit icon.

    The Configuration Server displays the endpoint configuration fields.

  4. On the top half of the screen and in the General Options subtab, modify the required settings.
  5. Click the Button Assignment subtab and modify the required configuration.
  6. Optional To add a new button, click Add New.
  7. Click the Profile Settings subtab and modify the required settings.
  8. At the top-right corner of the screen, click Commit.

    The Configuration Server saves the endpoint configuration and redirects you to the Endpoints screen.
