Adding a CTI link

About this task

Configure CTI links between the AE Services server and the Configuration Server. Without CTI links, you cannot use the CTI applications.

Procedure

  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, click Administration > CTI Links.
  2. At the top-right corner of the CTI Links page, click the Add icon.

    Configuration Server displays the CTI links configuration fields.

  3. On the Add CTI Link page, in Number, type the CTI link number.

    The value range is 1 through 64.

  4. In Name, type the name of the CTI link.

    You can type a maximum of 40 Unicode characters.

  5. In Type, select one of the following:
    • ASAIIP: for a CVLAN link.

    • ADJIP: for a TSAPI link.

  6. To enable event minimization, select Event Minimization.
  7. To add an asterisk to the digit string of a restricted number, select Special Char for RN.
  8. To block the messages caused by certain agent status events, select Block CMS Move Agent Event.
  9. To remove a plus sign before the numbers, select Remove Plus from SIP No.
  10. In Permission Sets (COR), select the permission set for a CTI link.

    You can configure permission sets on the Permission Sets (COR) screen of the System tab.

  11. At the top-right corner of the page, click Commit.

    Configuration Server saves the CTI link configuration and redirects you to the CTI Links page.
