Importing agents

About this task

You can import a group of agents to the contact center using a configuration spreadsheet. With the configuration spreadsheet, you can add new agents to the contact center or import the agent configuration from your previous contact center.

You can also edit the configuration of a group of agents by filling in the configuration spreadsheet with existing agent login IDs. When you upload the spreadsheet, the Configuration Server updates the configuration of agents with matching login IDs.

Before you begin

Download an agent configuration template from the Agents screen and fill it in with your configuration details.

Procedure

  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to Administration > Contact Center > Agents.
  2. At the top-right corner of the screen, click the More icon and select Import Agents.
  3. In the new window, go to the required folder and select the configuration spreadsheet.

    The configuration spreadsheet is in the .xlsx format.

  4. In the confirmation window, click Yes.

    The Configuration Server imports the agent configuration data to Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity.
