The Configuration Server overview

The Routing Core Configuration Server (Configuration Server) is a web-based management platform that you can use for migrating data from your previous contact center and administering Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity. You can access the Configuration Server web portal both from a public network and your intranet.

On the Configuration Server web portal, you can perform the following administrative tasks:

  • Import data of your previous contact center to Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity.

  • Manage contact center objects, such as skills, agents, and endpoints.

  • Configure vectors, VDNs, and variables for call routing.

  • Set up working hours and holidays for your contact center.

  • Configure a dial plan for processing dialed numbers and agent login IDs.

  • Set up links to Application Enablement Services and Avaya Call Management System.

  • Manage network configuration.
