About this task
Add a DOW variable to specify the current day of the week for call processing. The contact center obtains the value from the Configuration Server calendar. The contact center can assign a value in the range from 1 to 7 to the variable, where each value corresponds to a day of the week starting from Sunday.
You can add a DOW variable to a vector routing table and use it as a condition in the goto vector step. For example, the following step directs the call to step 2 if the variable D is in vector routing table 1:
goto step 2 if D in table 1
