Manually synchronizing IPSec configuration

  1. Login to media gateway over SSH or serial connection using the admin2 account.
  2. Type the mgcsetup command.
  3. Do the following:
    1. Skip to the Configure IPsec now? prompt and type y.
    2. Type the management IP address (eth0) of any Avaya Breeze® platform server in a cluster where the MGC is assigned.
      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
      The cluster can be Primary, Alternate 1, or Alternate 2 cluster.
    3. Type the Avaya Breeze® platform server management credentials that are used to get CLI access over SSH (both cust or root and appropriated password are acceptable).
    4. Upon successful synchronization, MGC shows the Successfully retrieved ipsec.xml file message.
    5. Restart MGC for the synchronization to take effect.
