Adding media interface for Avaya SBCE

Before you begin
Define RTP and SRTP port ranges in internal and external media streams. The media interface IP address can be the same as the Signaling Interface IP address.
Use this procedure to add an internal and external media interface for the Avaya SBCE.
  1. Log in to the EMS web interface with administrator credentials.
  2. In the Device field, click the Avaya SBCE you want to administer.
  3. In the navigation pane, click Network & FlowsMedia Interface.
  4. In the content pane, click Add.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The EMS server displays the Add Media Interface window.
  5. In Name, enter a descriptive name for the internal media interface.
  6. In IP Address, select an internal media interface IP address.
  7. In Port Range, enter port ranges for the media path with enterprise endpoints.
  8. Click Finish.
  9. In the content pane, click Add.

    The EMS server displays the Add Media Interface window.
  10. In Name, enter a descriptive name for the external media interface.
  11. In IP Address, select an external media interface IP address.
  12. In Port Range, enter port ranges for the media path with enterprise endpoints.
  13. Click Finish.

    STEP RESULT:
    The EMS server displays a new configuration in the Media Interface display.
