RFC 2833 support must be enabled at the MGC or UNIStim endpoint. Support for RFC 2833 packetized digit transmission to the far end is determined by the data in the SDP received from the far end. If the far end did not indicate support for RFC 2833 in the SDP offer or answer, the Device Adapter cannot send the digit packets to the far end. However, this is under control of the far end; the Device Adapter always permits end to end transmission of digits using RFC 2833.
