Signaling Security

Prolog information
CS 1000 supports TLS between CS 1000 and outside destinations for SIP signaling, and Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) between the CS 1000 and UNIStim stations. Signaling security is not an issue between the MGC and the call server as the signaling used a proprietary, byte-by-byte signaling protocol.
As with the media security, the DTLS settings allowed Never, Best Effort, and Always.
This is maintained for Device Adapter, including maintaining the terminology for the options. However, using signaling security requires a CA root certificate installed on the IP station.
