When a call goes to coverage from a PSA-disassociated extension, the software sends a message to the coverage point to indicate that the call was unanswered. If the coverage point is a display telephone, the system displays the letter a which means don't answer.
If the coverage point is a voice messaging system, the voice messaging system receives an indication from the software that the call was unanswered, and the voice messaging system processes the call as unanswered.
