Telephone displays provide information about the activity on individual telephones and consoles, including confirmation that a certain feature is being used. You administer the language to use for messages on the Station screen for each telephone.
Note:
As of July 1, 2005, new messages are no longer added to the Language Translations screens, so these screens may not show all available Communication Manager messages. As a preferred method for entering translations for user-defined telephone messages, Avaya recommends using the Avaya Message Editing Tool (AMET). This tool is available for download from http://www.avaya.com. Also, to administer Unicode display languages, see the section Unicode display administration.
