For Avaya Oceana®, LDAP Server user authentication is mandatory. System Manager integration is required for Avaya Oceana® and Avaya Breeze® platform deployment.
Procedure
Log in to the Avaya Breeze® platform server using an SSH client application, such as PuTTy.
Run the openssl s_client -connect <LDAPSERVERNAME>:636 command.
Scroll up until you find the server certificate.
Copy the content of the certificate that is present between the ---BEGIN CERTIFICATE REQUEST--- and ---END CERTIFICATE REQUEST--- lines.
Open a text editor such as Notepad and paste the copied content.
Save as a .cer file.
Double-click the .cer file.
On the Certificate Path tab, select the root certificate and click View Certificate.
On the Details tab, click Copy to File.
On the Certificate Export Wizard screen, do the following:
Click Next.
Select Base-64 encoded X.509 (.CER) and click Next.
Browse to the location where you want to export the certificate.
Specify a name for the certificate and save as .cer file.
Click Save.
Click Next.
Click Finish after you successfully export the certificate.
Change the file type of the certificate to .pem.
Repeat steps 8 to 11 for intermediate and LDAP certificates.

You must configure in System Manager to ensure that the certificates are part of the trusted certificate authorities.
