Viewing Oceana Dashboard

About this task

The Oceana Dashboard service gets deployed when you install Oceana Monitor service.OceanaMonitor supports adding custom elements to OceanaDasboard. It is useful when we need to add the custom features to the dashboard. Overload Status and Certificate Status blocks are added. The Overload Status shows if the Breeze system is overloaded and Certificate Status displays the status of different certificates on the Breeze system. Dashboard is available on all clusters that have Oceana Monitor service. Authentication is not required to view the Dashboard.

Procedure

  1. In your web browser, enter the following URL to view the Oceana Dashboard page:

    https://<Cluster IP>/services/OceanaMonitorService/dashboard.html

    The dashboard displays the channels which you want to monitor and the associated services. The channels and services are indicated in different colors. You can hover over each service to view the monitor status of the service.

  2. On the Oceana Dashboard page, click Filter to sort the services based on the monitor status.

    You can filter based on the four color-coded status levels displayed for each service:

    • Red status

    • Orange status

    • Yellow status

    • Green status

    • None

  3. Optional Click Automatically update dashboard (every 60 seconds) to update the dashboard every minute.
