Decrypting databases

About this task

Use this procedure to decrypt the following databases:

  • Omnichannel database

  • OFFLINE database

  • CoBrowse database

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Omnichannel Database server.
  2. Start the Oceana Data Management utility.
  3. In the Oceana Data Management utility, click Encryption.
  4. In the navigation pane, click Data Encryption.
  5. In the Key location field, click Browse.
  6. Select the directory containing the encryption key.
  7. In the Open dialog box, select the activated encryption key and click Open.
  8. In the Username field, type the user name of the encryption key.
  9. In the Password field, type the password of the encryption key.
  10. In the Confirm Password field, retype the password.
  11. Click Decrypt Database.

    After successful decryption, the Oceana Data Management utility displays the following message:

    No databases are encrypted
