Configuring AgentControllerService to access UnifiedAgentController

About this task

Starting from Avaya Oceana® Release 3.8.0.0, UnifiedAgentController requires all the requests to its internal endpoints to be authenticated using the AuthorizationService token. Use this procedure to configure AgentControllerService to access UnifiedAgentController.

You can also configure AgentControllerService using the OceanaConfiguration service. For more information about the OceanaConfiguration service, see Setting OceanaConfiguration attributes.

Note:

This procedure is mandatory for Avaya Oceana® to handle contacts properly.

Procedure

  1. On the System Manager web console, click Elements > Avaya Breeze® > Configuration > Attributes.
  2. On the Service Clusters tab, do the following:
    1. In Clusters, click Avaya Oceana® Cluster 3.
    2. In Service, click AgentControllerService.
  3. For Authorization Service Address:
    1. Select the Override Default check box.
    2. In Effective Value, enter the IP address or FQDN of the cluster that hosts AuthorizationService.
  4. Click Commit.
