Modifying an announcement name in the Web Client

You can modify the name and description for an announcement. The extension number for the announcement is read only.
  1. Navigate to AdministrationDictionaryAnnouncements.
  2. In the Current ACD list, select the active ACD for which you want to administer announcement names.
    STEP RESULT:
    CMS Supervisor displays the announcement names administered for the selected ACD.
  3. Click Modify next to the item you want to modify.
    STEP RESULT:
    The Modify Item window is displayed.
  4. In the Announcement Name field, update the formula of the calculation.
  5. Revise the information in the Description field.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    You can enter up to 50 characters. This field cannot contain the pipe (|) symbol, a semicolon, or double quotes.
  6. Click OK to save your changes.
