Modifying a custom database item in the Web Client

You can modify the database table for a custom item and the item description. However, the Database Item field is read only. If you want to change the name of a custom database item, you must delete it and add a new custom item.
  1. Navigate to AdministrationDictionaryCustom Items.
    STEP RESULT:
    CMS Supervisor displays the custom database items administered for the system.
  2. Click Modify next to the item you want to modify.
    STEP RESULT:
    The Modify Item window is displayed.
  3. In the Table field, specify the database table for the custom item.
  4. Revise the information in the Description field.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    You can enter up to 50 characters. This field cannot contain the pipe (|) symbol, a semicolon, or double quotes.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.
