Adding a custom database item in the Web Client

Custom items are stored in database tables. When creating a custom item in the Dictionary, you must specify the database table.
  1. Navigate to AdministrationDictionaryCustom Items.
    STEP RESULT:
    CMS Supervisor displays the custom database items administered for the system.
  2. Click Add Custom Database Item.
  3. In the Database Item field, enter a name for the custom database item.
  4. In the Table field, enter the name of the database table that will contain the custom item.
  5. In the Description field, enter a brief description with additional information.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    You can enter up to 50 characters. This field cannot contain the pipe (|) symbol, a semicolon, or double quotes.
  6. Click OK to save your changes.
