Loading pseudo-ACD data in the PC Client

Prolog information
  1. From the Controller window, select ToolsSystem Setup.
    STEP RESULT:
    Supervisor displays the CMS System Setup window.
  2. In the Operations list, highlight Load Pseudo-ACD Data.
  3. In the ACD field, select the pseudo-ACD that will receive the data.
  4. Click OK.
    STEP RESULT:
    CMS Supervisor displays the Load Pseudo-ACD Data window.
  5. In the From ACD field, enter the ACD number for the source ACD used to back up data.
  6. In the Device Name field, enter the name of the device used for the backup.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Tip:
    To list all the devices on the CMS server, select ActionsList devices from the menu bar.
    Ensure that the latest CMS maintenance backup on the specified device contains the data you want loaded into the pseudo-ACD.
  7. In the Start Date field, enter the date representing the first day of historical data to load into the pseudo-ACD.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    CMS searches the data backup for this date which serves as the starting point for loading data.
  8. In the Start Time field, enter the time when CMS will start loading data. The default is 12:00AM.
  9. In the Stop Date field, enter the last date of historical data that CMS will load into the pseudo-ACD.
  10. In the Stop Time field, enter the time when CMS will stop loading data from the data backup. The default is 12:00AM.
  11. From the menu bar, select ActionsRun.
    STEP RESULT:
    CMS begins loading data from the backup into the pseudo-ACD. The Status field at the top of the window displays events in the loading process. The Errors field displays any problems encountered during the loading process.
    Canceling the load process before it is finished causes the pseudo-ACD to have partial data.
    When the data has been loaded, Supervisor displays the Load Pseudo-ACD Data - Acknowledge window.
    • If there is no other volume of data to load, select ActionsStop.
    • If there are more volumes to load data from, select ActionsContinue.
      If you log out of CMS before the data is loaded, the process continues to run in the background. You can log back in later to check the status.
