Adding split/skill permissions in the PC Client

  1. From the Controller window, navigate to ToolsUser Permissions.
  2. In the Operations list, select Split/Skill Access.
  3. In the ACD list, select the ACD or ACD group for which you want to manage split/skill access.
  4. Click OK.
    STEP RESULT:
    CMS Supervisor displays the User Permissions Split/Skill Access window.
  5. In the User ID field, enter the name of the user who will be assigned split/skill permissions.
  6. In the Splits/Skills field, enter the names or IDs of the splits/skills you want to assign to the user.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    If you enter multiple values, use a semicolon to separate each entry. Alternatively, you can enter a range such as 1-256.
  7. Select one or more of the following check boxes to assign permissions for the specified splits/skills:
    • Read: The user can view information and reports for the specified splits/skills.
    • Write: The user can administer or manage the specified splits/skills. To assign Write access, you must select both Read and Write.
    • Exceptions: The user is notified when active split/skill exceptions occur. For general information about split/skill exceptions, see Split/skill exceptions.
  8. From the menu bar, click ActionsAdd to save your changes.
