Adding a user from the PC Client

  1. From the Controller window, navigate to ToolsUser Permissions.
  2. From the ACD list, select the ACD or ACD group on which the user will be created.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The same user ID does not need to be created on each ACD. A user created on one ACD can be given permissions to other ACDs.
  3. In the Operations list, select User Data.
  4. Click OK.
    STEP RESULT:
    CMS Supervisor displays the User Permissions User Data window.
  5. Administer the options as described in User data descriptions.
  6. Click ActionsAdd from the menu bar.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The user ID is created on the specified ACD.
Next steps
A user password is required for SSH connections to the CMS server. As described in Changing a user's password through the command line interface, you can use the command line interface to force the user to change their password the next time they log in.
