Adding tenant permissions in the Web Client

Users can view or manage the specific tenants for which they have permissions. In this procedure, you must define which tenants a user can access and then assign permissions. You can add tenant access permissions for any user. Note that tenant users cannot modify tenant assignments.
  1. Navigate to AdministrationUser PermissionsTenant Access.
  2. In the Current ACD list, select the active ACD for which you want to administer tenant data permissions.
    STEP RESULT:
    CMS Supervisor displays the list of administered users and their current tenant data and exception access permissions for the selected ACD.
  3. Click Add Tenant Access.
  4. In the User ID list, search for and select the user.
  5. In the Tenants field, enter tenant names or IDs.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Use a semicolon to separate each entry.
  6. Click + to move the tenants you want to assign from the Search Results area to the Selected Tenant(s) area.
  7. Select one or more of the following check boxes to assign permissions for the specified tenants:
    • Read: To view tenant data.
    • Write: To assign Write permissions, you must select Read and Write. Note that tenant users cannot change tenant assignments.
    • Exceptions: To receive exception notifications.
  8. Click OK to save your changes.
